How to mitigate EMF damage to the body during a flight

So I was never really afraid of flying, related to crashing or anything like that, but I was listening to a podcast Dr. Jack Kruse being interviewed on electric magnetic forces and something he said almost as a side note stood out to me. During the interview, he got pulled into a tangent about the stresses on the body caused by being in a plane and how he prepares for them. He seemed truly worried about damage during flights and so what follows is Dr. Kruse’s flight damage mitigation protocol:

How to mitigate damage during flight:

Water:

  • Drink lots of cold water, minimum 32 ounces of freezing cold water before getting on the plane and at least two liters during the flight.
  • When you land, drink another glass of water afterwards (go to the bathroom quite a bit), help mitigate jetlag.

Supplements:

  • Preload with 800 mg of reduced CoQ10 (ubiquinol) before the flight.
  • Take an additional 200mg every hour while in flight.
  • If going across timezones, right before going to bed, take 6-9 mg of melatonin (he is usually a fan of its usage, because melatonin is important in normal signaling of circadian rhythm).

Grounding:

  • [Editor’s Note: I have done this one and I get some weird looks, but I think it actually works] Take off your shoe and put a bare metal foot on the metal stanchion on the chair in front of you. The way a plane is designed, the seats are all grounded, but you are not grounded while sitting in one, but if you put your foot on it, you do become grounded.

He looks at airplane flight stress is similar to the way a triathlete looks at one of their races. I think this is a pretty good mentality, as one needs to think about this damage. Dr. Kruse also says he only does it for flights over 3 hours, but I still do it on every flight…
